COLLEGE KEEPERS CAMP

Brad Swenby will be back to lead our sixth annual 2 day College Keeper Camp… the camp runs in Stevens Point, WI, concurrent with the eleventh annual Wisconsin Road Show keeper camp. College keepers will receive approximately ten hours of high quality training spread over two days. The price for this training is $99 AND we will also pay for keepers to stay Monday night June 20 at the nearby Holiday Inn! Seriously – two days of GREAT training and a hotel room for only $99!

Brad Swenby was named to the Indiana men’s soccer staff in July 2014. Swenby’s primary duty is to work with the goalkeepers.

Swenby was at Lewis University where he was an assistant coach with the men’s and women’s programs. On the men’s side he tutored goalkeeper Alec Pickett to All-America honors in 2013, as well as Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the top shutout percentage in Division II.

Brad has also coached at the University of Wisconsin under the direction of head coach and former Hoosier John Trask. Brad is a 2004 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, Swenby served as women’s goalkeeper coach at his alma mater in 2005, where under his watch, freshman Erin Kane broke school and league records for GAA and shutouts and earned All-American honors second-team All-Horizon League accolades.

Swenby also spent three years coaching soccer in Arizona. He served as the assistant coach at Corona del Sol High School and as the goalkeeper coach for Arizona FC. Other teams that Swenby has coached include Sereno SC, Tempe Pros and the Arizona Olympic Development Program.

Swenby competed at Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2000-02. With the Panthers, Swenby went 15-8-1 in 27 games, making 25 starts. He spent time in the professional ranks with the Minnesota Thunder (2003), Milwaukee Wave (2006) and Arizona Sahuaros (2007-10). Brad holds a National “B” License from the United State Soccer Federation and has earned an NSCAA Goalkeeper Diploma, Level 2.

Monday-Tuesday, June 19-20, 2017 in Stevens Point, WI

The camp will be held at the PCYS Complex:
830 Badger Avenue
Stevens Point, WI 54482

Cost – $99.

Younger keepers need a greater percentage of developmental work, whereas the college keepers will have shorter, more intense sessions featuring an emphasis on quality reps with a high work rate, and more “decision making” situations.
